Open data: real rates by week

A CSV file of the published rate and the rate a 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000 USD deposit actually gets, per product and per week, for the last 12 weeks. Free to reuse under CC BY 4.0, with attribution.

What the file holds

  • Each line is one product in one ISO week (Monday to Sunday, Vietnam time), for the last 12 complete weeks. The week under way is not in the file, so a past week’s figures do not change; only when a venue, coin or protocol stops being tracked, or a product’s conditions change (it becomes a restricted offer), do its lines follow the new state.
  • Each rate is the average of the days the product was open that week (the days column counts them), not one day’s figure: a rate that changed during the week shows in its average.
  • Only products open to every account, at the venues, coins and protocols being tracked. Offers only for new users, first deposits, VIPs, or paid in rewards only, are not in it. A product closed since keeps the weeks it was open.
  • The file belongs to no country: its list is what a visitor who picks "Other country" sees. No links to venues, no risk tiers; tiers and the legal status by country are on each venue’s page.
  • It is a 12-week sample. The full history is kept, not published here.

How the numbers are computed

The published rate is the best tier a venue advertises. The rate for an amount is the average weighted by tiers and caps, the part above a cap counting as 0%, as in every table of the site. Every rate is an APR (simple yearly rate), in percent, decimal point, three decimals. An empty cell: no rate could be computed for that amount (below the minimum deposit, or no coin price to convert with).

Very high rates often last only days or apply only to small amounts: read the three amount columns before the published rate. The full method: How rates are computed.

Updates

Every Monday (Vietnam time) the file gains the week just ended and drops the oldest one; the new version reaches you within a few hours. The underlying numbers are read from the public Earn pages of exchanges and from DefiLlama: where the data comes from.
